HICOM-HONDA Manufacturing (M) Sdn. Bhd. (HHMM) was established in 1985 as a joint venture company between Hicom Holdings (48%), Honda Motor Co. Ltd.  Japan (30%), Boon Siew Sdn. Bhd.  (19%) and Lembaga Tabung Haji (3%).

HHMM’s manufacturing plant is presently located in Sungai Petani, Kedah with total land and built-up area of 97,134sq.m and 5,184sq.m respectively. Principle activities in the plant include machining of engine components and assembly of engines.

Products manufactured include motorcycle engines ranging from 100cc to 110cc and major engine components such as camshaft, crankshafts, cylinders and cylinder heads, crankcases, inlet pipes, cylinder head covers and others for 100cc to 155cc motorcycle engines.

Additionally, HHMM also has the relevant technology, governing body’s approval and capacity to manufacture motorcycle engines with capacity above 110cc since 5th April 2002. At present, engine production caters to the Malaysian domestic market while components are manufactured for both in-house consumption and the regional ASEAN markets.
